Love books? Paper? Maps? Photographs? Then you are in luck! The Rochester Area Booksellers Association is holding its 43rd annual Antiquarian Book Fair on Sept. 12, 2015. It is the oldest regional Antiquarian Book Fair in the country. Its unlikely origin was in a restaurant on Mount Hope Ave. in the city. Two colleagues, a book dealer and the Director of Special Collections at the University of Rochester rare Books Library, at lunch one day in April, 1972, decided to inaugurate a book fair to help support the Friends of the UofR Library.
