The MuCCC is hosting a performance of Somewhere Under Wonderland by Mario Savastano with music and lyrics by Counting Crows.

Somewhere Under Wonderland explores friendship, love, sacrifice and the search for identity through the eyes of young adults living in an apartment complex outside of Los Angeles, California. When Andy drifts into town—determined to leave his past behind—he becomes part of a circle of friends struggling with abuse, addiction, and the compromises necessary to achieve their dreams. As desperation and fear threaten to drive them apart, they make difficult choices and set plans into motion, culminating in events that will change their lives forever. With Counting Crows' timeless melodies and achingly honest lyrics, as well as a book written by local playwright Mario Savastano, this intimate musical confronts the intricacies and complexities of the American Dream in the 21st century.
