Starting at 8 p.m. at the MuCCC is a Double Feature performance of Stone Goddess of Midsummer by Shirley Ricker, and Mr. Lonelyhearts by Ed Scutt.

The Stone Goddess of Midsummer: Directions for the performance of a medieval mystery play lead three friends to a mysterious goddess, to lost rituals, and to the healing of old wounds. Mr. Lonelyheart (by Ed Scutt) depicts Nathanael West shortly before the end of his short life. He is about to propose to his love, Eileen Mckenney. He had been involved with many women before her and was to marry her and die with her in a car crash returning from a delayed honeymoon in Mexico. He tells us about his life and his most famous works, Miss Lonelyhearts and The Day Of The Locust. He tells us about his on and off career in Hollywood as a script writer.
