Richard Price is the author of nine novels, including Clockers, Freedomland, Lush Life, and most recently the New York Times bestseller The Whites. He was nominated for an Academy Award for his screenplay for The Color of Money and won an Edgar Award for his writing on the HBO series The Wire.
