Today at 2 p.m. in the Rundel Auditorium of the Rundel Library Building, Maureen Whalen will present a discussion titled Up, Up, and Away: Blanche Stuart Scott: America's First Aviatrix.

Born in Rochester, Blanche Stuart Scott was a pioneer in the automotive and aviation industries, becoming the first American woman to fly an airplane in 1910. Come "meet" this fascinating woman and hear in her own words about how she took to the sky.
