Naked Eye Cinema was the film program of ABC No Rio, the infamous community activist space in NYC's Lower East Side. Organized by a group of artists including Jack Waters and Peter Cramer, Naked Eye Cinema was among many collectives working at the intersection of art and activism in the 1980's and 1990's. Join us for a showcase of the film and video work that these artist collectives have created to document the AIDS crisis, anti-corporate politics and the avant-garde scene of downtown New York.
