"In 1906, George Eastman and a few Rochestarian friends (including prominent Dr E. Mulligan) traveled by train to Newfoundland for a month of hunting, fishing and camping. In 1910, Mr Eastman and friends returned on a chartered yacht for another month-long vacation in the wilds of Newfoundland. The two 100 year old photographic albums of these expeditions, housed in the George Eeastman Museum Legacy collection, were cataloged by Edith Cuerrier during her MA studies in 2009 and she will now introduce us to the nearly 300 seldom seen images Mr. Eastman and friends took while on vacation in her home province."
