ROCHESTER INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY TO FEATURE "RUCKUS RIT," MARCH 10 MAY 2

ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- "Ruckus RIT," an installation sculpture involving a 10 foot by 40 foot trailer home will be displayed on the campus of the Rochester Institute of Technology from March 10 to May 2. Designed by Alexandra Whitman, the sculpture depicts her thesis of American Culture as Art. There will be a reception at the exhibit on March 14 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
The exhibition is free and open to the public. The interior will be open for viewing from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, and by request. The sculpture is a 10 foot by 40 foot trailer home with two sculpted people seated on a platform in front. The space within the trailer is open to any students to exhibit their work.
"Ruckus RIT" will be located near the Japanese Garden in the Academic Quad of the Rochester Institute of Technology.
