JayceLand's Weekly Rochester Events #109: Bull, Juan Belmonte
Let's see ... next week is Valentine's Day. I thought I'd keep the color scheme the same this year, but
I did a themed survey and movie clip.
Sorry to you folks who don't
have QuickTime (stupid plugin popups!) but for the rest of you, here's a clip from
Hot Shots!
(not Hot Shots).
Charlie Sheen as Topper Harley
talks with Kevin Dunn as Lt. Commander James Block, comparing playing to win with
finding someone you love and staying with them through the hard times.
Just click on the picture. It's about 1.5 megabytes, by the way.
Oh, and I got to thinking about my personal "kiss of death." No, I'm not talking about
the strong correlation between first kisses and last ones, but rather my capacity for liking stuff
and having it simply go away. So now I have proof that it's not just me. A couple weeks
ago Dan Liberto lost his comedy gig at
The Blue Fox Tavern
(2 Palm St. (near Kodak Park off Ridge Rd.))
and I never liked it -- heck, I've never even been there. So there!
