JayceLand's Weekly Rochester Events #102: Carriage Dogs

So this is Christmas? Well, at least Monday is. Dang -- Monday. I should probably get some shopping done ... just kidding. Sorry to you folks who don't have QuickTime (stupid plugin popups!) but for the rest of you, enjoy the clip from Babe -- just click on the picture.

Let's see ... Winter starts at 8:37am today. Hanukkah starts tomorrow, so get your butts out there at sunset at 4:38pm today. Likewise, for Hasidic Pagans, Hakkunah starts tomorrow; the moon sets today at 2:20pm. Kwanza starts on the 26th.

On an unrelated note, I went to see Nuts and Bolts last Sunday but missed the show because I got there too late. Unfortunately, they won't be out again until February 16.

  • Dracula 2000 - Dracula is given modern hypodermic cuspid prosthetics, allowing him to travel the world virtually undetected.
  • Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon - Packed with crystaline magic, a stolen jade sword is the centerpiece to this tale of love and assassins.

GFP Bunny - Nothing excessively surprising to some of you (especially Sean), but Eduardo Kac made a genetically modified albino bunny. Oh, and it glows bright green under blue light.
