Pre-weekend Weekend Lunch Invite 73. Be Free Bahamas
You know, I had given myself generous time to put a little more
meat into the text of this, but on the way home I smelled someone's
brakes or clutch burning. When I got off the highway and saw the
smoke coming from the front wheel, I realized why the smell kept up
with me. So now my car is in the shop and I'm in a rented Neon. So
much for writing a little bit this week ... :-(
The "Big Event" for this weekend is the
Rochester Ham Fest at
The Dome Center
(E. Henrietta Rd. and Calkins Rd.)
It originated as an event to buy, sell, and trade ham radio
equipment but it has "grown" to include computer equipment,
military surplus, and other electronic items. Despite not having anything
to do with pork, you'll find there is still a considerable population of
overweight middle-aged men around. Admission is $8 which is an
all-weekend pass.
