The Flower City Arts Center has partnered with Rochester Art Collectors to bring a unique free event to the community. In anticipation of the Flower City Pottery Invitational exhibition in October nationally acclaimed ceramic artist Peter Pincus will share his knowledge of pottery and ceramic art objects with you! Get ready to see some super cool pottery and ceramic artwork at the presentation! Peter will bring examples of various ceramic pieces from his personal collection. He'll discuss the reasons he selected them and describe their significance. He'll also describe how artists manipulate and push the materials to achieve their creative goals. After the presentation, you'll have lots of useful knowledge to help you understand, evaluate and purchase ceramic works for your collection. You'll be well prepared for the Pottery Invitational on October 11th through the 14th.
