At today's Tuesday Topics in the Kate Gleason Auditorium of the Bausch and Lomb Library Building, Joseph Makarewicz will present today's Tuesday Topics lecture titled How Clean is Our Water? A Checkup on Local Waterways.

Many people see the abundant water in western New York as an asset, but decades of industrialization and agriculture have contributed to water pollution in different ways. Environmental concerns have led to safeguards for our waterways, but are we are doing enough to protect them?
