Tour the exhibit with Central Library's Local History & Genealogy Division. Based on the collection of library patrons Karen Dinkle Bunton and Jerry Bunton, Everyday People: The Dinkle Family and Rochester's African American Past explores the city's black heritage through the eyes of a family that has resided in the Rochester area since the late 19th century and examines topics such as the local Civil Rights movement and the role of blacks in the military.
