Rochester's Rich History: Two Kinds of Fear
2017-Mar-18 @ 13:00 - 14:30
Bill Pruitt will lead a Rochester's Rich History discussion titled Two Kinds of Fear in the Rundel Auditorium in the Rundel Memorial Building.
Join storyteller and writer Bill Pruitt as he weaves true stories from the lives of Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass together to tell a remarkable tale about two remarkable people. Two Kinds of Fear is a story about Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony, beginning in their youths, and then moving to Rochester as their lives overlapped in the tumultuous events leading up to and beyond the Civil War. It is not a talk but a telling, a true story documented from writings in published archives. Two Kinds of Fear offers a glimpse into the lives of two remarkable human beings as well as the turbulent, dark and hopeful times in which they lived.
