The Flower City Arts Center will host an Opening Reception for The Painted Photograph: Kallitypes by Jen Pereña, on display through February 16.

From digital to darkroom, the photographs on exhibit are as much about process as subject. Depicting scenes ranging from winter and snow on one half of the gallery to water-colored images of vegetation on the other half—the handcoating of Pereña's pieces bring together iPhone pictures printed in the alternative process of Kallitype resulting in unique, one-of-a kind artworks.
