The Dryden will screen Miracle on 34th Street (George Seaton, U.S. 1947, 96 min., 35mm) as part of the Dryden Kids and Holidays series.

A jolly, bearded man named Kris volunteers to be Santa for the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and sets off a controversy about his identity that can only be determined conclusively on Christmas Day. The agelessly appealing Miracle on 34th Street affirms that there is a Santa, as well as a need for goodwill and year-round kindness. Free for 17 and under.
