The Dryden will screen Love Actually (Richard Curtis, U.K. / U.S. / France 2003, 135 min., 35mm) as part of the (Mostly) Happy Holidays series.

Longtime comedy writer Richard Curtis (Four Weddings and a Funeral) took the opportunity to direct his own script of this sprawling holiday romantic comedy that has become a beloved classic over the last decade and a half. The film follows the interrelated stories of eight couples in varying states of attraction in the month leading up to Christmas. The all-star cast includes Liam Neeson, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman, Martin Freeman, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Keira Knightley, and Hugh Grant.
