Rochester-based lawyer Donald Rehkopf Jr. is legal counsel for the Military Religious Freedom Foundation, a watchdog group and an advocacy organization that works to ensure members of the U.S. Armed Forces receive the Constitutional guarantee of religious freedom to which they are entitled by virtue of the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment. The MRFF is often pitted against fundamentalist Christian organizations, going to battle against their bullying in the U.S. military. Rehkopf will speak about some of the more interesting cases he has been involved with representing members of the military.
