Camera Traps as Conservation Tools

2018-Jun-16 @ 10:00 - 16:00

Camera trapping is a method of photographing wild animals that allows researchers to gather data without disturbing the animals or their environment. On Saturday, June 16, join us for Camera Traps as Conservation Tools to discover how Seneca Park Zoo and its conservation partners are utilizing camera traps to learn more about animal populations. Meet with Zoo Naturalists to find out more about how your Zoo is taking part in the Urban Wildlife Information Network (UWIN), a project led by Lincoln Park Zoo, that will involve placing camera traps throughout Rochester to track local wildlife.
