Breaking the Bubble—Incarceration Nation: The U.S. and Mass Incarceration, Joshua Dubler

Joshua Dubler, University of Rochester Assistant Professor of Religion Join Professor Dubler, Founder and Director of the Rochester Prison Education Project as he speaks about how the United States, a country with five percent of the world's population, has come to incarcerate nearly a quarter of the world's prisoners. In his talk, Professor Dubler will explore the various social, economic, and political factors that scholars point to in trying to answer this vexing and pressing question. He will also address and solicit ways that we as a community can work to end mass incarceration.
