2017-Sep-19 @ 12:12 - 12:52

Free

In the Kate Gleason Auditorium of the Bausch and Lomb Library Building, Veronica Volk will present a Books Sandwiched-In review of The Death and Life of the Great Lakes by Dan Egan.

The Death and Life of the Great Lakes is prize-winning reporter Dan Egan's assessment of factors that jeopardize the health of the Great Lakes, and an outline of ways we can restore and preserve them. According to the journalism collaborative Great Lakes Today, Hurricanes Harvey and Irma serve as a warning for cities to the north – such as Rochester – as climate change is expected to increase the number of storms crossing the country.
