The Flower City Arts Center will host an Opening Reception in the Photography Galleries for ChasingNirvanaClean by Simone Ochrym, on display through October 20.

ChasingNirvanaClean is a photojournalism/storytelling project by photographer Simone Ochrym that focuses on people in recovery from addiction. The purpose of ChasingNirvanaClean is to explore the how and the why people enter and remain in long term addiction recovery. The goals of the project are to reduce the stigma of addiction and recovery, to highlight addiction recovery methods, old and new, to promote that addiction recovery is attainable, and to use those who have achieved recovery as societal role models.
