Lovin' Cup is looking for Rochester's best songwriters to take part in "The Write-Off", where local original artists will duke it out for the title of "Songwriter of the Month". Competitors will perform their original songs live before a panel of esteemed contemporaries who, along with the audience, will determine the outcome of the night. The catch? The songwriters don't find out their subject matter until the month leading up to the show, and have only from then until show time to write it.
