In the Kate Gleason Auditorium of the Bausch and Lomb Library Building, Dr. Bill Valenti will discuss The Beginning and the End of AIDS.

Dr. Bill Valenti, co-founder and staff physician at Trillium Health, will give a talk on the AIDS timeline, starting with the emergence of the epidemic in 1981, through today's efforts to End the Epidemic by 2020. He will read excerpts from his self-published book, AIDS: A Matter of Urgency, and describe the Rochester community's early response to the epidemic and the impact this response had.
