Eric Brewer, MS, MD will present A Talk on Victorian Insane Asylums in the Rundel Arts Room on the 1st floor of the Rundel Library Building.

Professor Verdigris Wetware, is the Medical Superintendent of the Mechanicsburg Asylum for the Wrathful and Sullen and Consultant to the County Home for the Inconvenient. He is also the steampunk alter-ego of Eric Brewer, MS, MD, Distinguished Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association; a practicing Psychiatrist with over 20 years' experience of work in psychiatric hospitals and residential institutions. He currently works in a facility constructed of brick and asbestos and featuring crenelation, gabled parapets, half-timbering, steeply gabled roofs, and arches reflective of the Tudor Revival style.
