In collaboration with the National War Tax Resistance Coordinating Committee, the Gandhi Institute will be hosting two introductory workshops on the tradition of withholding federal income taxes as a form of civil disobedience. Two facilitators connected to the National War Tax Resistance Coordinating Committee, Sam Koplinka-Loehr and Tom Joyce, will be traveling to Rochester to present historical information about the practice of war tax witness and resistance, providing participants with methods for the use of these tactics in contemporary times.
