The Little will screen The Bad Kids (Keith Fulton, Louis Pepe, U.S. 2016, 101 min.) as part of the Indie Lens Pop-Up series.

At a remote Mojave Desert high school, extraordinary educators believe that empathy and life skills, more than academics, give underserved students command of their own futures. This coming-of-age story watches education combat the crippling effects of poverty in the lives of these so-called "bad kids." The discussion following will be moderated by Sasha-Ann Simons from WXXI News.
