Western New York based but nationally touring southern soul artist, David Michael Miller, and a 4 piece version of his band, Miller and The Other Sinners, is bringing their stirring blend of roots music to Abilene for a month long series of residency shows with a mission. Moved by an article published on WHEC.com ranking Buffalo and Rochester in the top 3 cities in America where children suffer in poverty, Miller and The Other Sinners will be doing weekly shows to help raise awareness to this problem. They hope to connect people who desire to make a change with agencies and opportunities to put that desire into action through the publicity of these shows. Several of the shows will be streamed per month and videos documenting each week alongside of sponsors that are helping to make it all happen.
