The Dryden Theater at George Eastman House (900 East Ave.) will be showing Three-Cornered Moon starting early at 7 p.m. followed at 8:30 p.m. by Mills of the Gods. The first is, according to the Eastman House calendar, "perhaps the first genuine 'screwball comedy,'" in which a rich family is forced by the Depression to actually work. In the second, "plow-factory owner and matriarch May Robson finds that her trust fund kids just don't give a darn as her business goes bust."

The Dryden Theater at George Eastman House (900 East Ave.) will be showing Dracula: Pages From a Virgin's Diary starting at 8 p.m. I'm very excited that we get a chance to see another film by the unique filmmaker Guy Maddin. In this, according to the Eastman House calendar, "Maddin has taken a Royal Winnipeg Ballet version of Bram Stoker's classic with music by Gustav Mahler, and turned it into a black-and-white horror show that resembles no other vampire movie ever made."
